Your time to shine!

Calling all art enthusiasts and community champions

Southampton Hospitals Charity will be lighting up the South with a largescale public art event that promises to captivate your senses and ignite your imagination. Let’s illuminate our city with the transformative power of creativity, weaving together the threads of culture, heritage, and diversity.

Light the South will feature 40 uniquely decorated large lighthouses, and 40 mini lighthouses, positioned at key landmarks across Southampton and Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

These lighthouses will be put on display for eight weeks in summer 2024, and your design will contribute to a fun, large-scale public art trail, engaging with tourists, visitors, and local communities.

Successful submissions will be announced in January 2024, so don’t forget to keep an eye on your emails for updates.
