About Jess
Jess is an illustrator living and working in Birmingham. She has painted over 60 sculptures for Wild in Art and loves to create work with a strong narrative background. Jess’ work has often been described as ‘playful’ and ‘happy’ and you can see her love for art shine through her work.

The design of Jess’s lighthouses are being kept closely under wraps until
the trail starts in the summer.

Jess has created our large Hero Lighthouse, with the design being inspired by all things Southampton!
Featuring some of Southampton’s most prominent landmarks from the City Walls, to the iconic cranes that adorn the shores of the harbour, you’re sure to see many places you recognise all over this lighthouse!
Jess has created this design using a bright, colourful palette which really boosts your mood as soon as you see it. So take a moment and see if you can spot your favourite aspect of Southampton.
She is also creating a second lighthouse for us called Folkhouse, but that design is closely under wraps until the start of the trail!
