About Maureen
Maureen is a figurative and abstract painter and has fun experimenting with glass, sculpture, clay and reclaimed objects in her loft space at Walford Mill.
She is a member of a Poole Printmakers and PEDAS Arts Society and director of The Powerhouse Poole charity campaigning for a creative and wellbeing community space locally. As well as exhibiting her own work Maureen has curated two Open Exhibitions at Lighthouse Poole Arts Centre and worked on Arts Council projects with local schools and artists.
As a Graphic/exhibition designer, she has project managed cultural heritage, arts and exhibition projects for charities, councils, museums, the National Trust, English Heritage and the RNLI. She has also commissioned public art sculptures and enjoys collaborating on projects.
