Meet Mik Richardson
About Mik
I am a Norfolk based artist who has run his own art business since leaving the RAF in 2006. I have produced over 400 murals, privately, in the community and in schools and have also been involved in many of the public art trails across the country.
I have, to date, painted 103 Wild in Art sculptures for 51 trails & an additional 29 for other trails. At auction they have raised over £450,000 for the charities involved.
I also work with communities and have helped them produce over 100 smaller sculptures for the trails as well. I illustrated my first children’s story book based around one of the WIA sculptures that I designed and painted. My favourite specialist piece of art equipment that I use in my designs is the airbrush.
Sculpture: Ship Of The Stars
The design of Mik’s lighthouse is being kept closely under wraps until the trail starts in the summer
