Our learning programme
Our Little Lights learning programme is now closed to new submissions – thank you to everyone who applied.
Local schools are giving their pupils the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to light up Southampton and Cowes through our mini Little Lights lighthouse sculptures. Alongside the main trail, 40 equally as impressive smaller lighthouse sculptures will be on display, each one designed by a local school or youth organisation.
Each large sculpture will be sponsored by a local business or individual and the whole learning programme will be supported by our learning sponsors. This world-class, large-scale public event will bring businesses and communities together, champion health and wellbeing, create an education programme for schools and help boost the regional economy by driving footfall and visitor spend.

Here’s what other schools say
“We chose one design from each class and to see the children painting and drawing their designs onto the Swinpup is really exciting and we are loving it.”
Alison Tremlett, St Francis Church of England School
“The reaction from the children has been fantastic. They are having the opportunity to influence and support other vulnerable children in the community and be proud of Swindon as a place they live.”
Michael O’Connor, Youth Justice Service Swindon
