“Commotion in the Ocean” is a design that makes you look to see all the different things embedded in the shapes and geometry. It’s about all things under the sea and how we should appreciate and protect them. We all know the oceans are under attack from our neglect, pollution and over use through the generations until now! Now is the last chance to protect them and clean up our act! Much the same way that Southampton hospitals protect and care for their patients we too have to do the same for our oceans. This design is colourful and plays with patterning and shapes but it carries a serious message. No more commotion in the ocean please. Protect the seas and the seas will protect us.

Auction
Following an eight-week art trial across Southampton and Cowes, we invite you to join us for the grand finale as we auction our Lighthouse sculptures, both large and small. Join Natasha Raskin Sharp, our auctioneer, best known for appearing on TV shows such as Bargain Hunt, as we raise funds for Southampton Hospitals Charity to support Southampton Children’s Hospital.
Hosted at Southampton International Boat Show on Friday 20 September 2024, you can join us on the night or watch the live-stream from the comfort of your sofa. Tickets to attend are limited. The reserve for each Lighthouse sculpture is expected to start from £3,000, so be prepared for some competitive bidding!
