After asking children across the school to come up with a lighthouse design, we noticed lots of children used our school’s logo and values as their inspiration. Our pupil voice Arts & Creativity Team selected two designs that we used to decorate our Little Light: one was inspired by our school logo and values, and the other was inspired by our beautiful woodland surroundings. The final result was to use the vibrant colours from the five trees that make up our logo, representing our values of Care, Learn, Engage, Achieve and Reflect, and to add further decoration with wildlife and trees from our forest location. Our design celebrates our school and demonstrates the pride children feel in coming here.
