“Team spirit” describes St Patrick’s lighthouse. An amalgamation of designs from each year group highlights the school’s ethos and mission statement. Our lighthouse reflects the beauty and wonder of our natural world and the amazing environments and species that inhabit them. The school’s shamrock motif and Christian cross nestle among lavish forests, mountain peaks, woodlands and fish-filled oceans. However, it also shines a light to highlight the devastating impact of climate change and human’s mismanagement of our unique Earth. “Shine the light; be the light” highlights and recognises that this trend can be reversed if we come together to shine the light on problems and each become a small light in the darkness to effect change.
