Southampton Hosptials Charity

We aim to encourage people to take steps to improve their wellbeing in their daily lives. When this isn’t enough, the University of Southampton’s Biomedical Engineering programme is training future leaders in how technology can be used to support better health and wellness. Together we can change lives. The team of Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Students, PhD students, Research Fellows, Lecturers, Readers and Professors in the Digital Health and Biomedical Engineering group in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton are engaged in cutting edge research on technology to support health and wellbeing. The team is proud to partner with Mount Pleasant Primary School to encourage STEM engagement and instil ownership of wellness in our local school children. The team is thrilled that artist and teacher Emily Harper has collaborated with us to bring our interactive work to life.

Wellbeing Beacon is sponsored by University of Southampton‘s Digital Health and Biomedical Engineering research Group, Electronics and Computer Science.
